Really good breakfast! We've been here a few times since it's close to the house and it's always impeccable. The staff is awesome and attentive. I love the coffee and they know me as the girl who loves half and half.  I get a big bowl each time! I usually order the pancake and eggs plate. Pancakes with pecans are a must here! The cheesy grits are awesome too!

One day, we came here about 30 minutes after they stopped serving breakfast. I was crushed because I was not in the mood for lunch. The staff immediately said I can order breakfast since they weren't busy. They made me happy! Overall, such a great place.

We came here because it is oh so near to us and my wife just mentioned it, so we dropped in. It was lunch time so we only had the lunch options. I got the Chicken fried Chicken and my wife got the Smoked Turkey and Avocado sandwich. Both were pretty god, generous portions and easy to like flavors, kind of answering the question "what if Cracker Barrel was independently owned mom and pop's place?" Reasonably priced, good attention. Good overall. Now why 4 stars and not 5 is because the lattice fries were box/frozen/bought, they weren't bad, but not homemade which is something you would've round up a very pleasant experience... will come back to try out the breakfast!!!

P.S. the complementary bruschetta was pretty good.

This is a great no-frills spot for a tasty and simple lunch.

I used to go alot when they were located on Huebner Rd. Then found them here, and walked out when nobody waited on me.  That was about a year ago.

So I gave them another shot and they were great.

I had the ham and provolone sandwich, bread soft very lightly toasted. It comes with your choice of sides, I had the pasta salad. It was good.

I also had a cup of tortilla soup, it was yummy! Chunky chicken breast cubes, should have had the bowl.

    They close early!

I discovered the Courtyard Cafe via Yelp.  Many positive review and now I understand why.  The was amazing!  I had breakfast, but they serve lunch also.  I ordered a banana peanut butter waffle which came with  two breakfast sausage.  The portion was large and the quality of the food was excellent.  Homemade tasting is how I would describe it. Honestly one of the best waffles I have every had.  The fresh bananas and peanut butter really makes the waffels something special.  The prices at Courtyard Cafe are very reasonable also. Most plates between 7 and 10 dollars.  The cafe is local and located in Leon Valley.  Great breakfast and brunch spot in the San Antonio area.

We just had breakfast at the Courtyard Cafe in San Antonio Texas and it was absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and courteous. Checked on Us often making sure we didn't need anything. He also gave suggestions which was nice and helpful. Once we decided what we wanted I got the Cajun Jambalya omelet which consisted Of Chicken, Shrimp and Saugage served with you're choice of sides. I got a biscuit and a fruit cup which was surperb. The omelet was cooked to perfection. My brother ordered a Peanut Butter and Banana Waffle served with you're choice of Bacon or Breakfast Sausage which was light and fluffy. So so delicious. Then my sister in law ordered the Banana and Peanut Butter Pancakes with bacon. Another superb choice. This place has the best breakfast ever and i plan to come back really soon to try another delicious meal. The service is impeccable and i wasn't disappointed.
